  • Sajid Nadiadwala’s back injury

Performing in an injury is a nightmare for us all. But the director Sajid Nadiadwala has overcome the situation with his complete dedication and passion for his most awaited movie Kick starring Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Randeep Hooda in the lead roles. Even while having a severe back injury caused due to heavy gym routines he showed great enthusiasm for his first directorial movie to turn into a perfect masterpiece.

Even after being in severe pain, Sajid Nadiadwala decided to continue as the planned schedule due to the deadline of the project. His doctor had adviced him to take a complete best rest for a minimum of 15 days but he did not postpone and continued his work. The producer used to travel from his home in Andheri to the shooting location in Karjat in a vanity van.

  • The train sequence from Kick

The debutant directorial movie of Sajid Nadiadwala had introduced several thrilling action sequences. The phenomenal train sequence performed by Salman Khan was one of them that won many hearts at that time. The most surprising part is that it was never a part of the original plan.

The original scene was to be shot with Salman riding the cycle across the tracks but at last moment Salman came up with this idea where he will descend from the cycle push it ahead and walk across the track calmly. Later, the shot was filmed in a ‘now or never’ situation which came out to be perfect.

  • The ‘Devil’ mask

The devil’s mask that we saw in the movie took 300 attempts to get the finalized one. Suresh Selvarajan, a special prop designer told that “ when we thought of making the mask for the movie, the first thing that came in mind was it should be a first time ever or never before mask”. He also told that they made nearly 300 different designs before finalizing this one. Also, this was the first time that a 3D print technology was used to make a mask in India being inspired by the technology used in Hollywood.

 
Talking about the color of the mask, Suresh said that they tried various colors for the mask. “We tried 50 color and texture options before arriving at the final one.”

  • Salman Khan’s grand entry on Rudy!

Sajid Nadiadwala came up with some of the amazing things in his debut directorial movie, Kick. Rudy, shown in Kick was one of them being a result of a lot of hard work of the team. Many of you might not know that what is rudy? So here comes the answer to your doubt.

Rudy is that unusual bike which was seen in the movie while Salman Khan made an entry. The bike entry that received several praises and wow reaction was made with combining a vintage car and a motorcycle. Such creative things are not certain to be seen in Bollywood movies.
